《投名狀》首映　驗袋要緊

陳 可 辛 作 品 《 投 名 狀 》 前 晚 舉 行 了 全 球 首 播 試 映 場 。 為 免 電 影 被 盜 錄 ， 現 場 保 安 相 當 嚴 密 ， 觀 眾 入 場 前 需 要 被 搜 袋 ， 入 場 時 更 要 被 金 屬 探 測 器 檢 查 ， 播 放 期 間 更 有 保 安 不 停 巡 視 。  電 影 劇 情 雖 然 充 斥 了 大 量 血 腥 打 仗 場 面 ， 但 拍 攝 效 果 依 然 出 色 。 可 惜 這 是 未 完 成 版 本 ， 電 影 中 段 出 現 過 字 幕 追 不 上 的 情 況 ， 惟 完 場 時 全 場 仍 報 以 熱 烈 掌 聲 。 陳 可 辛 表 示 拷 貝 剛 從 泰 國 抵 港 ： 「 當 中 出 現 無 字 幕 情 況 ， 國 語 唔 好 觀 眾 可 能 要 估 。 」  對 於 票 房 他 亦 表 示 《 投 》 片 有 充 裕 拍 攝 時 間 及 強 大 卡 士 ， 成 績 是 很 難 去 判 斷 的 ， 但 直 認 心 情 比 過 往 的 穩 定 。 而 劉 偉 強 看 完 後 大 讚 該 片 是 本 年 度 值 得 觀 看 的 電 影 。 另 外 ， 有 傳 《 投 》 片 的 劇 本 在 網 上 外 洩 ， 製 片 商 力 斥 曝 光 者 行 為 極 不 道 德 。

寰亞聖誕鉅獻《投名狀》於12月13日上映，而前晚率先舉行了一場神秘試映場予發行商、電影公司、影評人及傳媒等業內人士欣賞，導演陳可辛也在現場了解觀眾反應。

　由於前晚是《投名狀》全球首次放映，電影公司進行了嚴密保安工作，所有進場人士均要將相機及手機予保安保管，且並要經過金屬探測儀器於身上掃描，以確保不會有盜錄情況發生。影片放映前，陳可辛上台向觀眾致意，感謝大家到來欣賞，並指該片一直於泰國趕製後期工作，花上幾個通宵才於前日早上將拷貝運抵香港，不過當中尚有一、兩句字幕未曾做好，倘若普通話不佳的觀眾就要猜一猜所講的對白。

　影片講及李連杰、劉德華與金城武三兄弟之情誼及鬥爭，最後只得金城武沒死，當中部分廝殺場面頗為殘酷，但陳可辛倒沒這感覺，認為不少外國電影的戰爭場面更加殘忍，而該片將會以2b級上映。

　特來捧場的劉偉強坐足全場，看後感覺非常享受，認為《投名狀》是今年一部很不錯的港片製作。

'Warriors' march down Orchard Road to promote "The Warlords"

SINGAPORE: Orchard Road saw an invasion of sorts on Saturday afternoon, as an army of 'warriors' marched down the shopping belt.

Shouting battle-cries which were supposed to strike fear into the hearts of many, the actors certainly looked and sounded the part.

However, passers-by seemed more amused than fearful because no matter how formidable the 'warriors' looked, they still had to wait for their turn to cross the road like everybody else.

All the hype along the shopping district was to promote "The Warlords" - the latest film collaboration between MediaCorp Raintree Pictures, InnoForm Media and Shaw Organisation.

"The Warlords" is a heroic tale of three blood brothers and their struggle in the midst of war and political upheaval during the late Qing dynasty.

The masterpiece is directed by acclaimed award-winning director, Peter Chan, and comprises a star-studded cast of Jet Li, Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

Action movie a welcome change for Chan

KUALA LUMPUR:
Director Peter Chan Ho Sun has all the answers and needs no interpreters. He not only speaks fluently in Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Thai, he is also incredibly articulate in expressing his ideas.

Fielding questions at a press conference, Chan graciously gave English versions of his Cantonese and Mandarin replies for the benefit of non-Chinese members of the press.

Chan was in town to promote his latest movie, a historical war epic titled The Warlords (Tou Ming Zhuang).  

It is a riveting tale about three men swearing an oath of brotherhood and a woman who is the catalyst behind their undoing.

Following the success of his lavish romantic musical Perhaps Love (2005), Chan immediately set about preparing for his biggest production yet.

“After making so many movies about love and romance, I looked forward to making an action movie for a change,” he said.

According to Chan, The Warlords is not a wu xia pian (martial arts movie).

“The movie is about brotherhood and betrayal. The long battle scenes were the most challenging to film. They were also the most memorable yet.”

Chan said Ci Ma (The Blood Brothers) (1973), directed by the late Chang Cheh of One-Armed Swordsman fame, inspired him to make the movie.

The Warlords costs US$40mil (RM134mil) to make.

Asia’s top actors Jet Li, Andy Lau and Takeshi Kaneshiro play the three main characters while the woman who comes between them is played by Chinese director-actress Xu Jinglei.

Chinese action hero Jet Li plays the lead character General Pang.

“Jet Li is a very experienced actor and comes very prepared for his role. In fact, I think he knew his character much better than I did.

“Andy Lau is a very smart man but he has to play an almost naive man who does not even know who or what killed him or why.

“Takeshi Kaneshiro is very sensitive and vulnerable, and that is exactly the persona that comes across on the screen.”
