According to a post on Capcom's official US blog, the long-in-the-works and film adaptations are finally gearing up
for release within the next three years.
(根據官方網誌播導, 己作長期準備和電影發行, 最終將會在來近3年公開)
The Clock Tower film, which we last reported on in late 2005, is slated for a 2009 release. IMBD reports that Martin Weisz,
director of The Hills Have Eyes II, has signed on to direct the film, which is expected to start shooting in July.
An Onimusha film is still something of a far-off prospect, however, with a 2011 release mentioned in the blog entry.

Silent Hill director Christophe Gans still appears attached to direct the film, which will reportedly star Takeshi Kaneshiro,
basis for game protagonist Samanosuke. Haruhiro Tsujimoto, president of Capcom, revealed in May that the publisher
"wants to do with games what Marvel did with comics" in relation to film adaptations. One such film,
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, is currently in production and expected in theaters in early 2009.
